GC039 Liquid Sampling

The universal method for sampling liquids is the use of syringes. The most common syringes are of 1, 5 and 10 µL. Small samples are desirable due to the great expansion of liquids after they are vaporized. Care must be taken to avoid overheating of the sample and thermal decomposition during injection.
